One of the missions of MUTS is to work with local parks and trail systems to help maintain and build new trails. Along with clearing and marking the parks prior to our races, we have been active developing new trails, maintaining existing ones, and participating in state wide clean up days.
Past Trail Work
Building a boardwalk on the Yockanookany section of the Natchez Trace Scenic Trail.
Participating in the Pearl River Clean Sweep and collecting 950 pounds of trash along the Fannye Cook Natural Preserve on the Pearl River.
Developing trails behind Jackson Prep from the cross country course to the Pearl River on the Fannye Cook Nature Preserve property.
